Woman Missing After Troubling Text to Friend
Paighton Houston.   (Handout)

Alabama police say a Trussville woman hasn't been seen since she left a Birmingham bar Friday night; hours later she allegedly sent a friend a troubling text. The Trussville Tribune reports Paighton Houston, 29, was seen leaving the Tin Roof with "two heavy set black males," per police, who say "Paighton appeared to have left the location willingly" around 10:45pm. But Houston's family says she sent a friend this text after midnight: "idk who im with so if I call please answer. I feel in trouble." Al.com reports friends of Houston's have posted on Facebook that she did not know the men.

Her phone has been going straight to voicemail, reports WVTM, and her mother says there's been no activity on Houston's bank account since Friday. Police are asking the public for help: Houston is described as 5-foot-2, 123 pounds, and last wearing ripped blue jeans, a coral colored T-shirt, and blue Converse shoes. Anyone with info on her whereabouts can call 911 or phone the Birmingham Police Department at 205-297-8413. (More missing woman stories.)
