Ronan Farrow brought up an old rape accusation Friday on Real Time with Bill Maher—one against a former president. It came up after Maher asked how Bill Clinton would have weathered the Monica Lewinsky scandal in today's #MeToo culture, Fox News reports. "Could Bill Clinton, if he had done what he did in 1998, survive today—or would his own party have thrown him under the bus?" Maher asked. A little later, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Catch and Kill put it this way: "I think that it is very important to interject that Bill Clinton is a different conversation," said Farrow. "He has been credibly accused of rape. That has nothing to do with gray areas. I think that the Juanita Broaddrick claim has been overdue for revisiting."

In a more amusing—if slightly unsettling—moment, Maher brought up his old contention that Farrow's real father is Frank Sinatra, per the Wrap. "Now, what do you think your father would think about what you're doing now?" asked the ever-provocative host. Farrow hesitated: "Meaning?..." And Maher said, "If he were alive." But Woody Allen, Farrow's dad, is still alive, so the jig was up. "I knew I was walking into that so I asked," said Farrow with a laugh. "I didn't want to give you the soundbite of 'Which one?'" Maher explained that "there's no one more #MeToo-y than Frank Sinatra," an apparent reference to Sinatra's multiple marriages and extramarital affairs. "You do own a mirror, don't you?"
