On Tuesday night's Late Show, Stephen Colbert addressed how bad things are starting to look for President Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, in the Ukraine scandal. And wouldn't you know it, "Rudy" was there for a chat, in the form of a "wild impression" by John Lithgow, per HuffPost. Among the topics and conspiracy theories covered: the Bidens, with "Giuliani" calling Hunter Biden a "Men in Black-style alien being operated by a tiny Hillary Clinton in his neck"; the "deep state" and George Soros; his overall work on "big, spooky mysteries" in Ukraine; and ... more Hunter Biden. At one point Lithgow-as-Rudy takes a break for a "Rudy snack," pulling out an ample glass of red wine and guzzling from it.

When Colbert pushes back on one of Lithgow-Giuliani's claims, the latter's spirited response: "I'm not falling into that proof trap." Lithgow concludes his stay with Colbert by donning an astronaut helmet (which he tries to drink the aforementioned wine through) and informing the host that he's teaming up with a Bulgarian company that's going to send him into space to "get to the bottom of Hunter Biden's business deal with the Nazis in the center of the moon." Watch Lithgow's frenetic performance here, starting at around 3:00. (More Rudy Giuliani stories.)
