It's still unclear exactly where Anne Sacoolas is right now. The same can't be said for Harry Dunn's parents, who have been putting themselves in front of cameras and journalists as part of their quest to have the 42-year-old American held accountable for allegedly killing their 19-year-old son. Dunn died in an August crash in which Sacoolas was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road. British officials say Sacoolas, a US diplomat's wife who has diplomatic immunity, had said she wouldn't leave the country but subsequently did so. Boris Johnson on Monday asked the US Embassy to reconsider Sacoolas' immunity and said he would go directly to President Trump if need be. "We have spoken to some American news channels, we've got others lined up," mom Charlotte Charles tells the BBC. "The message is clearly getting out across there."

Indeed, CBS News spoke with Charles, who said "we still don't wish her any harm because she's a mum. But very disappointed in humanity really, for her not to come forward and at least reach out somehow." And she's willing to plead her case with the president if need be. "We are determined to see it through, we won't stop. We will go to Washington if we have to, we've taken [legal] advice on that." The Washington Post reports they'd be asking Trump to waive the immunity, which would force Sacoolas to return to the UK. A US Embassy statement pointed out that "immunity is rarely waived." The BBC notes there are about 23,000 people in the UK who have diplomatic immunity. (Read more on the case here.)
