A North Carolina woman who called herself a "very clean, thoroughbred, white girl" during a DUI arrest has gotten what she asked for—no jail time, Metro reports. Turns out Lauren Cutshaw, 34, pleaded guilty last month to misdemeanor DUI in what Inside Edition calls "a sweet deal." Prosecutors agreed to drop other charges, like possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and DUI with a blood alcohol content of .16 or more, per the Smoking Gun, and won't have her driver's license seized. And then there's the jail thing.

"I don't wanna know what it's like," she said during her August 2018 arrest in Bluffton, NC, which was caught on video. "I'm a pretty girl, please don't make me go there." She also told the arresting officer that she graduated from "a really good university," was "almost the valedictorian," was "an all-American cheerleader," and "didn't miss a beat my whole life." When the officer asked "what that has to do with anything," Cutshaw said, "You're a cop, you should know what that means ... you should know based on people that come in this room." Cutshaw will have to complete a drug and alcohol safety program as part of her deal. (More DUI stories.)
