Sasha Obama graduated high school in Washington, DC, in June, and now she's reportedly left the nation's capital for Michigan. Sources tell the Detroit News the 18-year-old former First Daughter has been spotted on the University of Michigan campus, attending the summer freshman orientation. She was seen on campus again this week, this time with people who appeared to be Secret Service agents in tow; new resident move-in is happening this week. Sources tell the newspaper Obama is enrolled in classes that start Tuesday, but neither the university nor an Obama spokesperson would officially confirm her enrollment.

The paper notes that she'll be the first in her immediate family to attend a public Big Ten university rather than an Ivy League one; Barack Obama attended Columbia and Harvard, Michelle Obama attended Princeton and Harvard, and sister Malia Obama starts her third year at Harvard this fall. Speculation that Sasha Obama would be attending UM started after an Instagram account said to belong to her posted a photo showing Obama and two of her friends on campus with the caption, "So proud to say I’m going to college with my sisters!!" ClickOnDetroit notes that locals have been sharing their stories of spotting Obama, or a related motorcade, around Ann Arbor. (More Sasha Obama stories.)
