A completed autopsy offers little insight into the Thursday death of Saoirse Kennedy Hill. Reuters quotes a statement from the district attorney's office as saying Friday's autopsy "has revealed no trauma inconsistent with lifesaving measures." Cause of death will be determined once the toxicology report is in. The New York Times' sources have indicated the 22-year-old died from a suspected overdose at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port, Mass.

Hill was studying communications at Boston College and had been slated to graduate in 2020. The Boston Herald quotes a letter from the school about the "gifted student" which notes, "We care deeply about our students and all members of the BC community. In the remaining days of summer, I hope that you will take care of yourself, and of each other." (She had previously written about her depression.)
