The Guardian reports this is the week a judge will likely sign the paperwork that will make official the transfer of 4% of Amazon shares to her as part of her divorce settlement with Jeff Bezos. Those shares are worth $38 billion, which far outpaces the previous biggest divorce settlement ever: the $2.5 billion Jocelyn Wildenstein got from her ex Alec Wildenstein two decades ago. Jeff Bezos' title will remain unchanged; he'll retain 12% of Amazon shares worth $112 billion and keep his place as the richest person on the planet, reports Bloomberg. (As for his soon-to-be-ex, she has promised to give away at least half of her money.) Read These Next Mass market paperbacks near the end. A loathed parasite teeters on the brink of eradication.
