Not a huge surprise: The Patriots won the Super Bowl again. Bigger surprise: Tom Brady and crew scored just 13 points. It was enough, however, as New England defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII, per NFL.com. It was, in fact, the lowest-scoring game in Super Bowl history, reports the AP. Brady earned his record sixth NFL championship by throwing for 262 yards, with no touchdowns. He was intercepted once, on his first pass of the game in the first quarter. With the win, the Patriots equaled the Steelers for most Super Bowl wins at six.

The Patriots led 3-0 at halftime, and the game's lone touchdown didn't come until the fourth quarter. Sony Michel got it on a 2-yard run with 7 minutes to play. The Rams' attempt to tie the game at 10 late in the fourth quarter ended when Jared Goff's pass near the end zone was intercepted by Stephon Gilmore. The Patriots' Stephen Gostkowski subsequently kicked a 41-yard field goal to cinch the victory. Goff ended up with 229 yards passing. (The national anthem was a little controversial, but not for the reason you'd expect.)
