The bad news for M. Night Shyamalan's Glass is that it didn't quite manage to crack double-digit figures this weekend. The good news is that nobody else did, either, as the box office suffered its worst Super Bowl weekend in nearly 20 years, reports Variety. That gave Glass its third weekly crown with just $9.5 million in a weekend that grossed just $71 million overall; the Hollywood Reporter notes that it's extremely rare for no movie to cross the $10 million mark. Close behind was The Upside with $8.8 million in second, and Catherine Hardwicke's newcomer Miss Bala with $6.7 million in third. Aquaman was fourth with $4.7 million, while Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was fifth with $4.4 million. (More box office stories.)
