It looks like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s dancing days aren’t over. On Friday, the newly sworn in Ocasio-Cortez tweeted a short video of herself dancing in the hallway outside of her Capitol office to the song War by Edwin Starr, USA Today reports. “I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous,” she writes in the tweet. “Wait till they find out congresswomen dance too!” The video comes days after a 2010 video showing Ocasio-Cortez dancing as a Boston University student. While some attempted to use the footage to humiliate the democratic congresswoman from New York, the overall reaction was positive.

By Friday afternoon, the new video had some 5 million views and had garnered thousands of comments. Among the positive ones are, “Clearly she’s in the pocket of the fun lobbyists” and “I want to be you when I grow up. You are incredible.” On the negative side, “You looked cute in the first one. You should have stopped when you were ahead” and “They might as well have elected a 4 year old. They would probably have been smarter though.” In more serious news, Ocasio-Cortez says she favors a progressive tax plan that could have the very wealthy—the “tippie tops,” as she puts it—paying a rate of up to 70%, Mediaite reports. She made the comments in an interview with Anderson Cooper that is set to run Sunday. (More Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stories.)
