It looked like Harvard had scored a touchdown to take a 34-27 lead early in the fourth quarter of its game against Yale Saturday ... and that would indeed have been the case, had running back Devin Darrington not wagged a finger at the Yale defender who was chasing him as he complete his 27-yard run into the end zone. Harvard was hit with a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, and since the taunting took place during a play (as opposed to in celebration after a play), Harvard lost the touchdown and got a 15-yard penalty. USA Today reports that Darrington appeared to flip off the defender, but the Washington Post notes that a photo of the moment in question seems to show otherwise. "The bottom line is: He was wrong," Harvard coach Tim Murphy said, per ESPN. "He was wrong. It's that simple. It was the right call; he was wrong." Harvard did end up beating Yale 45-27.
