A pickup truck smashing into a Dallas newsroom did nothing to stop reporters from doing their jobs early Wednesday. Per FOX4, a male was heard ranting about "high treason" after he repeatedly drove a truck into the building shortly after 6am, shattering floor-to-ceiling windows. The man, who mentioned a sheriff's department and someone who'd been shot, was also seen waving papers, which littered the scene, though NBC DFW reports those papers mentioned a different TV station in the area.

The man has been IDed as Michael Chadwick Fry, FOX4 reports. "It wasn't clear what [his] intentions were. He was yelling and trying to show us something," one reporter says, per the New York Times. The suspect was arrested before a bomb squad investigated a bag left behind. "No explosives found," an officer later tweeted. (More Dallas stories.)
