One could be forgiven for not knowing who's running ISIS in Afghanistan these days: American and Afghan forces killed the terror group's leader on Saturday night, and he's the third man in the position killed since last July, reports the Wall Street Journal. Afghan officials characterize Abu Saad Erhabi as the group's "emir," and say he was among 11 killed in a joint raid in eastern Nangarhar province; an American spokesman confirms a hit on "a senior leader of a designated terrorist organization." ISIS had no comment, but the Journal notes that the group is struggling to maintain its position in Nangarhar as it fights not only coalition forces, but also the Taliban. (More ISIS stories.)
