The ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee joked about the Robert Mueller investigation over the weekend—and President Trump was clearly not amused. Politico reports that in a speech to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee retreat in Martha's Vineyard on Friday night, Sen. Mark Warner joked that a few drinks would loosen his lips on the special counsel's investigation. "If you get me one more glass of wine, I'll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know," the Virginian said, adding: "If you think you've seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It's going to be a wild couple of months."

"Why is Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), perhaps in a near drunken state, claiming he has information that only he and Bob Mueller, the leader of the 13 Angry Democrats on a Witch Hunt, knows?" Trump tweeted from Air Force One on Monday night. "Isn’t this highly illegal. Is it being investigated?" Rachel Cohen, Warner's communications director, fired back at Trump, the Hill reports. "Because it was obviously a JOKE. (Admittedly, not a very GOOD joke.)" she tweeted. "Why is our President spending time on this today?" (More Mark Warner stories.)
