Adult film actress Stormy Daniels sat for an interview with the revered TV newsmagazine 60 Minutes, but you'll never get to see it if President Trump's lawyers get their way. That's per s Saturday report from BuzzFeed. "We understand from well-placed sources [attorneys] are preparing to file for a legal injunction to prevent it from airing," a source told BuzzFeed. Daniels has been making headlines for months, most recently because her attorney, Michael Avenatti, filed a lawsuit seeking to void a non-disclosure agreement she signed during Trump's presidential run. Avenatti argues Trump never actually signed the agreement, rendering it void.

The argument Trump's lawyers might use to halt CBS from airing the interview Daniels, born Stephanie Clifford, did with Anderson Cooper are unknown. However, the president and his team have, in times past, threatened legal action against their opponents without following through. Also unclear is when CBS intends to air the interview. Per CNN, a source said only that that the interview will air "on a future episode" without giving specifics other than that it would not air this Sunday. Cooper, a regular contributor at 60 Minutes, interviewed Avenatti on Wednesday night. "That agreement is null and void. It doesn't mean anything," Avenatti told Cooper. The following day, Avenatti tweeted a picture of himself with Clifford and Cooper. (More Stormy Daniels stories.)
