Corey Feldman has been talking about pedophilia in Hollywood for years, and now he's pledged to make a documentary exposing the problem. In the wake of the sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, Feldman—who has discussed the sexual abuse he says he and late friend Corey Haim suffered at the hands of powerful people in the entertainment industry—last week called for other victims to come forward with their own stories. Within days, his tour bus was pulled over and he was arrested for marijuana possession, which he called a "shakedown" (he says a member of his crew simply had legal medical pot on him); he also noted he found the timing of the arrest "ironic," per the Independent. Then on Wednesday, he launched an Indiegogo campaign announcing his documentary intentions, Pacific Standard reports.

He says he needs donations to produce the film, as well as get security for himself and his family. He thinks he can take down "a pedophile ring that I have been aware of since I was a child. Right off the bat, I can name six names, one of them who is still very powerful today. ... It connects pedophilia to one of the major studios," he explained in a video at the campaign's launch. He also noted that since announcing his plans, not only was he arrested—he's also had band members quit because they're afraid for their lives, and he himself had "a near-death experience" in which "two trucks came speeding at me at the same time on a crosswalk." His campaign has raised more than $100,000 so far. Meanwhile, a Hollywood agent has been fired after accusations of teen sex abuse, and another documentary about the sexual abuse of teen boys in Hollywood is getting attention years after it was released.
