Julia Louis-Dreyfus has breast cancer, she wrote on Twitter Thursday. "[One] in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one," she wrote. "The good news is I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality." Louis-Dreyfus recently set a record for most Emmy wins for a performance in the same role in a TV series when she won her sixth Emmy for HBO's Veep, and the network tells People in a statement that she learned of her diagnosis the very next day. HBO also says the Veep production schedule will be adjusted as necessary. (More Julia Louis-Dreyfus stories.)
