Arnold Schwarzenegger has said "hasta la vista, baby" to Celebrity Apprentice, and he's blaming the president. "With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste," Schwarzenegger tells Empire. He claims half of Celebrity Apprentice's viewers boycotted the show when they learned Trump would maintain an executive producer credit and continue to profit from it. Schwarzenegger says fans would tell him, "As soon as I read Trump's name I'm outta there!" And he says sponsors were following suit. In a statement, the actor says he had a good time doing Celebrity Apprentice and would love to work with everyone involved "on a show that doesn't have this baggage," Deadline reports.

A campaign calling for a boycott of Celebrity Apprentice's sponsors says six of the show's 12 corporate sponsors agreed not to return for the next season, and the Wrap has confirmed that with five of them. The sponsors didn't cite Trump as a specific reason for leaving the show but nevertheless say they were shocked when they found out he was maintaining involvement in it. NBC hasn't commented, and it remains unclear if Celebrity Apprentice will get another season at all. If it does, it appears producers will be looking for a new host. (Trump recently requested prayers for Schwarzenegger's poor ratings during the National Prayer Breakfast.)
