Jamie Lynn Spears and the rest of her family are likely breathing a cautious sigh of relief after her 8-year-old daughter regained consciousness Tuesday following an ATV accident over the weekend in which she almost drowned, People reports. Maddie Aldridge's mom, dad (Spears' ex Casey Aldridge), and stepdad (Spears' husband, Jamie Watson) were all at Maddie's side when she came to, per a hospital statement offered by a Spears family rep, and the girl seemed to realize where she was and who her loved ones were. "She is awake and talking," the statement notes, adding she was taken off her ventilator and didn't appear to have suffered "any neurological consequences" from the Sunday accident.

Us Weekly, meanwhile, reports on a Tuesday Instagram post by Watson, showing a shirt that read "believe in miracles" and noting, "Maddie is doing better and better." The youngster had been submerged underwater for a couple of minutes after the ATV she was driving went into a pond on her family's property and she was trapped by her seatbelt and the ATV's netting until emergency workers arrived and freed her. Maddie's aunt Britney had posted a tweet for Maddie on Monday afternoon, writing, "Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece," followed by a heart emoji and a picture of the girl.
