Ashton Kutcher was paid triple what Natalie Portman made for 2011 romantic comedy No Strings Attached, Portman reveals in a new interview with Marie Claire UK. "I knew and I went along with it because there’s this thing with 'quotes' in Hollywood," she explains. "His [quote] was three times higher than mine so they said he should get three times more." She adds that, although it's difficult to complain when, as an actor, she makes a lot of money, female actors are paid 30 cents to the dollar compared to male actors. "I wasn’t as pissed as I should have been," she says. "The disparity is crazy." (Read more Natalie Portman stories.)
