Richard Simmons Hospitalized Over 'Bizarre Behavior'

Richard Simmons was hospitalized for a day over his apparently "bizarre behavior," TMZ reports. The workout guru's housekeeper called 911 on Friday when he became incoherent, sources say, and staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles evaluated him for possible dementia, stroke, or other illness. No word on their judgment, but his Saturday release seems to rule out stroke. He was in the spotlight earlier this year when a friend said his housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, was holding him hostage, which he denied, US Weekly recalls. "Right now, I just sort of wanna take care of me," he said at the time. "I don’t wanna be traveling anymore. … It's taken a toll on me."
