It's Rough Out There for the 'Gorgeous,' Says Charlize

Charlize Theron, who is attractive enough to be GQ's May cover star, tells the magazine in the accompanying interview that it's not as easy as one might think to be an actress when you look like her, assuming you don't want to get typecast early in your career. "Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that’s the end of the story," she explains. "How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, f---ing gown-wearing eight-foot model? When meaty roles come through, I’ve been in the room and pretty people get turned away first." (If Theron decides to throw a pity party, she should definitely invite Jessica Biel.)
