In fashion, one day you're in and the next you're Heidi Klum on the Oscars red carpet in a one-sleeve Marchesa gown. The dress, which is various shades of purple, has launched a thousand snarky tweets that refer to everything from lost bets to drapes to, in the New York Post's words, Cinderella's fairy godmother. Mashable's headline likens the dress to a "bridesmaid disaster." St. Louis Post-Dispatch TV critic Gail Pennington takes it one step further: "Heidi Klum in a rejected bridesmaid dress in lavender. With two corsages."
