A 15-year-old boy allegedly killed his 16-year-old friend while using a gun to celebrate a touchdown in a video game, WABC reports. According to the New York Daily News, Denzil Nash was playing Madden NFL at home with two friends on Thursday when the 15-year-old scored a touchdown. Police say the friend took a gun out of his waistband and started waving it in front of Nash's face while "gloating." The gun fired, and Nash was struck in the head. Police don't believe the teen meant to pull the trigger.

The Wall Street Journal reports officers responding to a 911 call about someone being shot caught the 15-year-old and an 18-year-old allegedly trying to leave the scene. The teens led officers to Nash. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Both teens were taken in for questioning, and charges are pending against the 15-year-old. The 18-year-old was reportedly texting when the gun went off. (More shooting stories.)
