Cops Hunt Guy After Woman Fatally Set on Fire
Clarence Duwell Dear   (Pomona Police Department)

"It appears that during a domestic dispute, the suspect chased the victim from their residence and was able to douse the victim with gasoline," reads the chilling press release from police in Pomona, Calif. "The suspect then ignited the victim, possibly with a lit cigarette." Cops are now hunting for the "extremely dangerous" suspect identified as Clarence Duwell Dear, 51, in the murder of the unnamed 41-year-old woman, reports NBC News. Neighbors "saw the victim run from the residence engulfed in flames" around 2pm on Christmas Day; she died later at a hospital of severe burns. Dear hasn't been seen since, adds the New York Daily News, and it's not known whether he's on foot or in a vehicle. (More fire stories.)
