Madonna may be endlessly cool to her fans, but that doesn't mean she's exempt from the typical struggles of a mom of teenagers. Her 15-year-old son, Rocco, recently refused to get on a plane from London (where his dad, Guy Ritchie, lives) to New York (where Madonna lives), so the Material Girl went to court Wednesday, where a judge decided Rocco would be forced to spend the holidays with his mom despite his wishes. "He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York," Ritchie's attorney said of Rocco, but the Manhattan Supreme Court justice ordered the teen to do just that. Once in the States, the judge said, Rocco could explain to the court which parent he wants to live with, the New York Daily News reports.

A source tells Page Six Rocco is sick of traveling with his mom, which he'd been doing for a couple months during her Rebel Heart tour prior to going to stay with his dad. "The boy said he didn’t want to stay with her," the source says. "He’s not getting along with his mom, which is not a surprise for a child that age." As for the judge's order, neither the source nor Ritchie's attorney seem to think Rocco will abide by it without a fight: "This is a 15½-year-old strapping young kid, so we’ll see," the source says. A custody-related court proceeding is also pending in the UK, but Madonna says the dispute should be decided in New York since that's where her and Ritchie's 2008 divorce was hashed out.
