About 20 men took to the streets of Tokyo on Saturday to protest Christmas for discriminating against single men, AFP reports. "Unpopular men, who don't have a girlfriend or are not married, are overly discriminated," says the group's leader, going by the fake name Mark Waters. "We want to break this barrier." The marchers called themselves "Losers With Women" and are part of a group that regularly protests capitalism and Western holidays. Specifically, they call Christmas a "capitalist ploy." "In this world, money is extracted from people in love, and happy people support capitalism," Waters says. "Christmas is the most symbolic event for this." The preceding quote may be why the protestors find themselves unpopular with women. (More Christmas stories.)
