There's a review embargo in place for Star Wars: The Force Awakens until 12am PST Wednesday, but fans worried about a galactic flop can probably rest easy, judging by spoiler-free tweets from people who were at Monday night's Hollywood premiere. A selection, per the BBC and the Telegraph:

  • Filmmaker Brett Morgen: "#ForceAwakens delivers on every level."
  • Actor Rob Lowe: "There's a new hero in town, in a movie that DELIVERS. Cried like a baby, whooped like a teen!"
  • LA Times reporter Rebecca Keegan: "Story, characters, design, humor -- fans, this is the movie you're looking for."
So far, most fans have resisted the temptation to give away plot details, but "those wanting to remain unspoiled should just switch off the Internet altogether until they've had a chance to see the movie for themselves," the Hollywood Reporter advises. (More Star Wars stories.)
