The House committee investigating Benghazi is taking more heat, this time from one of its own former investigators, Major Bradley Podliska, who tells CNN that the investigation focused solely on Hillary Clinton after her personal email server was revealed, and had descended into "a partisan investigation." Podliska, a conservative Republican, says he lost his job over his efforts to keep the investigation nonpartisan; he's filing a legal complaint next month, notes MSNBC. "The victims' families, they deserve the truth—whether or not Hillary Clinton was involved, whether or not other individuals were involved," he tells CNN. "The victims' families are not going to get the truth and that's the most unfortunate thing about this."
Take that with a grain of salt, says an unidentified Republican rep for the committee, who says it "vigorously" denies Podliska's claims. He counters that Podliska was fired for using "Committee resources to a PowerPoint 'hit piece' on members of the Obama Administration—including Secretary Clinton. Thus, directly contrary to his brand new assertion, the employee actually was terminated, in part, because he himself manifested improper partiality and animus in his investigative work."
