Yesterday, President Obama said the Supreme Court created a "good day for America" because of its ObamaCare ruling. Well, now he thinks the justices are two for two. Speaking in the Rose Garden, Obama hailed today's decision in support of gay marriage, saying the court "reaffirmed that all people should be treated equally, regardless of who they are or who they love," said the president, via CNN. Sometimes progress on equality comes in small steps, "and then sometimes there's days like this," he said, a day when justice "arrives with a thunderbolt."

He called the decision a "victory for America," adding that today, "we've made our union a little more perfect." He praised the advocates who have worked tirelessly over the years, finally "making a country realize that love is love." It's a great vindication for the notion that "ordinary people can do extraordinary things." (Click to see what the dissenting justices had to say.)
