Dave Grohl Falls Off Stage, Injures Leg, Finishes Show

If Dave Grohl wasn't already a legend to his Swedish fans, he is now: He fell off the stage during a Foo Fighters concert in Gothenburg last night, seriously injured his leg, and then returned to finish the show, reports the Guardian. "I think I just broke my leg," he told fans after he fell, just two songs onto the set. He promised to be back, the band played on without him, and, sure enough, he was later helped back on stage to a chair, with his leg bandaged up.

“I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream," he told cheering fans. After the show, the band tweeted a photo of an X-ray, showing what AP says appears to be a "clear fracture" in the bone. "Thank you Gothenburg," said the tweet. "That was amazing."
