Germany's Next Topmodel was set to choose a winner last night during a live televised finale, but the whole thing had to be canceled after a woman called in a bomb threat to the arena where the show was to be taped. The 8,500 people at the venue to watch it were evacuated, along with host Heidi Klum, NBC News reports. (The BBC cites reports that note Klum and the judges were whisked out before all those fans were.)

Though officials did eventually find a suspicious bag, it held nothing dangerous, and police issued an all-clear after doing a search that involved sniffer dogs. The caller is still being sought, and the show's broadcaster says a decision will be made today as to how a winner will be chosen. "Safety first!" Klum tweeted (in German) last night.
