These Students Can Now Go to Stanford for Free

Stanford already had a relatively generous financial aid program, and now it's become more so. Families don't have to contribute to tuition if they make less than $125,000 a year and have less than $300,000 in assets, excluding retirement accounts. If they make less than $65,000, they don't have to pay for room and board, either, reports Vox. Both income thresholds were raised $5,000 this year. Students themselves must still pitch in $5,000 a year from their part-time or summer jobs. The university says that 77% of undergrads graduate without debt, notes CNN Money.
