Michele Bachmann is now a private citizen, not a House lawmaker or presidential candidate, but she has still managed to find her way into the news with a provocative Facebook post likening President Obama to Germanwings pilot Andreas Lubitz. "With his Iran deal, Barack Obama is for the 300 million souls of the United States what Andreas Lubitz was for the 150 souls on the German Wings flight—a deranged pilot flying his entire nation into the rocks," the Minnesota Republican wrote. "After the fact, among the smoldering remains of American cities, the shocked survivors will ask, why did he do it?"

Unsurprisingly, the post attracted thousands of comments, some in support and many others along the lines of "Comparing this tragedy to anything is moronic and despicable. Congratulations, for once more upholding the level of stupid which only you can," Raw Story reports. Bachmann left office in January and, Facebook aside, she has been fairly quiet on the political front, although the Huffington Post reported earlier this month that she was spotted outside the White House playing herself in a cameo role for Sharknado 3.
