Thanksgiving Fliers to Eat 7M Cinnabon Calories per Hour

You don't want to give in, but many people stuck at the airport usually do. The allure of the Cinnabon is too powerful, and this holiday weekend, its maker anticipates that about 1 million of the sweet cinnamon rolls will be consumed in airports around America, Businessweek reports. From Wednesday to Sunday, a predicted 8,300 Cinnabons per hour—at 880 calories a pop, that's 7.3 million calories' worth—will be scarfed down.

"Some people wait all year to indulge," a Cinnabon VP tells Businessweek. She adds that company execs call the period between Black Friday and Jan. 2 "Jollybon" because of the 50% increase in sales compared to a regular day. (Cinnabons found their way onto a fake Guy Fieri menu.)
