Ray Rice has until the end of the day tomorrow to appeal his indefinite suspension from the NFL, and the former Baltimore Ravens player is expected to do just that, sources tell ESPN. The NFL players' union, which will reportedly handle the appeal along with Rice's own lawyer, is still working on a plan for the basis of the appeal, sources say. Rice was suspended after video was released showing him allegedly knocking out his then-fiancee in an elevator; an ex-FBI chief is conducting an independent inquiry into the NFL's handling of the case. According to NBC Sports' sources, Rice will file the appeal today, and the Baltimore Sun's sources say he's also considering legal action.
