Ah, retirement, the golden years when you can relax, play some golf, and cook a little meth. At least, that's allegedly what it's been like for 64-year-old Robert Short. Police pulled over the senior citizen for a routine traffic stop on Saturday night, only to discover that he was on supervised release for selling meth in the past. They searched his car and found four ounces of meth, "which is a lot of meth," they tell KFSN-TV.

Police then searched his home in the California League-Fresno Village retirement community, where they allegedly found materials for a meth lab, a half a pound of meth, heroin, and scales and baggies to distribute the drugs. "Just shocking someone that age would do that, but actually a perfect place to do it, right? Retirement village, who would suspect it going on there?" one police sergeant muses. Neighbors said they were shocked, but added that Short tended to keep to himself. (More methamphetamine stories.)
