The Knicks managed to top themselves last night, this time blowing an 18-point third-quarter lead against San Antonio, eventually bowing in overtime, 99-93. After Michael Finley tied it on a three-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining in regulation, the Spurs never looked back. Tim Duncan had 21 points, 14 rebounds in the win. The Bricks missed all seven shots in OT. Elsewhere:

  • An 11-0 run in the fourth quarter wasn't enough for Atlanta as LeBron James scored 26 and Cleveland got 18 big points from Ira Newble to beat the Hawks. The Cavs played without four of their top players.
  • Memphis, now losers of seven straight on the road, mailed it in again, this time a 92-81 defeat in Dallas.
