Kanye West really, really wants Anna Wintour to put Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue. So when Lena Dunham ended up on the cover recently, West was not happy. At a Beverly Hills Polo Lounge lunch, the rapper confronted magazine editor Anna Wintour, insisting that Kardashian is "just as talented as Lena, if not more so," a source tells Radar. "Kanye thinks that Kim has a much bigger fan base and appeal" than the Girls creator, too, the source adds.

Another source previously told the gossip site that Wintour "is no fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine," but a different source says she's now "open to the idea" of putting Kardashian on the cover of the magazine's French or Italian edition. "She hopes that will get Kanye off of her back," the insider says. "There would still be some backlash if Anna allowed that to happen, but not as much if Kim were to appear on the US edition." In other Kanye news, he also recently settled with the teenager he was accused of punching. (More Kanye West stories.)
