Sports / NBA Kings Crumble Hornets' D for 112-103 Win Warriors annihilate Bobcats, Blazers ride Roy's triple-double to OT win over Knicks By Katherine Thompson, Newser Staff Posted Feb 2, 2008 5:55 AM CST Copied Golden State Warriors' Baron Davis (5) passes in front of Charlotte Bobcats' Jason Richardson (23) during the first half of a basketball game Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in Oakland, Calif. (AP Photo/Ben Margot) (Associated Press) The high-riding Hornets suffered their second straight loss yesterday against a hard-hitting Kings team that got 24 points from Ron Artest and 22 each from Brad Miller and Kevin Martin, the Times-Picayune reports. The 112-103 loss soured a great night for New Orleans' Chris Paul, who had 15 points and a staggering 19 assists. On other NBA courts: Jason Richardson's return to Golden State—this time as a Bobcat—was less than auspicious, as he shot 2-9 for 10 points in Charlotte's landslide 127-96 loss to the Warriors. Zach Randolph added 13 rebounds to a game-high 25 points, but his Knicks couldn't overcome Brandon Roy's 20 points, 10 boards, and 11 assists in Portland's 94-88 overtime win. (More NBA stories.)
