Macaulay Culkin's latest project is a Velvet Underground cover band, which is somewhat quirky on the face of it. Then comes this tidbit: The Pizza Underground, as the band is called, repurposes all of the original songs it covers so they end up being about pizza. They have titles like "Papa John Says," "I'm Beginning to Eat the Slice," and "Take a Bite of the Wild Slice." Culkin plays percussion and kazoo and provides some of the vocals, Jezebel reports.

The group just released an EP recorded last month at Culkin's place, and you can buy it or listen to it here. No word on why the group got together, but they've been around since February 2012 and have even played a few gigs, the Huffington Post reports. (Want more Culkin?
