Another Craigslist killing? A newly married couple in Pennsylvania allegedly lured a man into their car and murdered him for the sheer thrill of it, the Daily Item reports. Police say Elytte Barbour, 22, and Miranda Barbour, 18, killed 42-year-old Troy La Ferrara after picking him up at a mall in their Honda CRV. (They first hooked up through a Craigslist ad offering her "companion" services, according to the AP.) When he got into the compact SUV, Elytte appeared from under a blanket in the back seat and strangled him while his wife stabbed him 20 times. La Ferrara's body was found in an alleyway.

Miranda initially told police that she killed La Ferrara in self-defense, but later said she and Elytte murdered him together. Both have been charged in La Ferrara's death and are being held without bail. In fact, the death of the father of Miranda's 1 1/2-year-old child may lead to murder investigations in other states linked to the Barbours, police said. Elytte apparently said they had tried to kill before but it hadn't panned out: "LaFerrara was just the one with whom it worked," he told police. Elytte shrugged his shoulders and smiled to reporters during his arraignment yesterday. (Read more Craigslist killer stories.)
