HGTV Host Bill Beckwith Dies in Motorcycle Accident

'Curb Appeal' co-host died in San Francisco Monday

The co-host of HGTV home renovation show Curb Appeal died Monday night in a motorcycle accident, Today reports. Bill Beckwith was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle in San Francisco, a police spokesperson says; the car's driver was cooperative. Beckwith, a carpenter, founded his own construction company in the city in 2001. "My love: so kind, so bright, adventurous and strong," wrote girlfriend Yulia Korneeva on a Facebook memorial page. "You are loved by so many good people! I wish you could stay with us for way longer."

"We are heartbroken," reads a post on the show's official Facebook page. "Bill was truly a beloved and respected member of our Curb Appeal family and this loss is devastating to us. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Bill's family." (More HGTV stories.)
