A crew from San Francisco's KGO-TV was held up at gunpoint in West Oakland yesterday, despite being accompanied by a security guard and being out in broad daylight. According to cops, the crew was hit at 2:30pm by three robbers, at least one of whom had a gun, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. None of the victims was injured, but the robbers made off with their camera equipment. This is just the latest in a series of similar robberies against news media workers while out and about in Oakland, says the Chronicle—in November last year, one cameraman was assaulted and robbed in the middle of a live broadcast.
