It wasn't pretty, but Detroit halted a three-game losing streak with a gritty win against youthful Philadelphia. Each team managed only four points in the first eight minutes of the fourth quarter, with Sixers swingman Andre Iguodala bricking two easy looks. Detroit's vaunted starting backcourt had 40 points in the win. Also in the NBA:

The Cavaliers embarrassed the Wizards, 121-85, with Lithuanian center Zydrunas Ilgauskas shooting a perfect 10 for 10 from the field.
Despite sloppy play late, the Mavericks improved to 7-0 against the Bobcats with a 102-95 win; Devin Harris led all scorers with 23.
