Actress Leah Remini is publicly saying sayonara to the Church of Scientology, and sources say it's because she endured years of "interrogations" and "thought modification" for questioning leader David Miscavige, Us Weekly reports. Remini was apparently blacklisted by the church for asking an incredibly tough question back in 2006 at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding: Where is Miscavige's wife Shelly? She's only been seen once in public since 2006, sources tell the New York Post.

"When you ask a question, like, 'Where is Shelly?,' you are immediately hauled in, interrogated and asked, 'Why are you asking, who are you connected to, are you going on the Internet?'" a source told the Post. "Because Leah threatened to call the police to find Shelly, she was put through 'Security Checking,' her family was put through it, and her friends." The Church of Scientology has denied it all, and Remini herself has kept pretty mum, too. "I am truly grateful and thankful for all your support," she said in a statement. (More celebrity stories.)
