Man of Steel may not have rocked critics' worlds but someone forgot to tell moviegoers, who stormed theaters and pushed the latest Superman to the best June opening ever, with $125.1 million. While the Hollywood Reporter notes that that figure includes $12 million from Thursday night Walmart screenings, the actual three-day earnings of $113.1 million still beat out Toy Story 3's $110.3 million record. Rounding out the top five: This Is the End ($32.8 million); Now You See Me ($10.3 million); Fast & Furious 6 ($9.4 million); and The Purge ($8.2 million).
