A 67-year-old Texas woman was killed yesterday morning when her own car ran her over. Isabel Huerta pulled over her PT Cruiser front of a San Antonio high school and got out of the car, but left it in gear, the Express-News reports. Huerta then fell over—just as the car began rolling backward toward her. A nurse on her way to work stopped in an attempt to help and called 911.

Firefighters jack-lifted the car off of Huera and performed CPR, but it was no use: She died at the scene. There are "various theories circulating as to why she got out of the car," a police officer says. Huerta's family tells Fox 29 that they suspect she got out because she was feeling sick.
