It's not a good trend when stories about ricin-tainted letters sent to the president and other officials start to blur together. The FBI says a suspicious letter was intercepted at a White House mail facility this morning, reports the Washington Post. Tests have yet to confirm the presence of ricin in the letter, which was addressed to the president. This comes a day after poisoned letters were sent to Mayor Bloomberg and to a gun-control group he supports.

CBS News reports that the letter to Obama had a postmark from Shreveport, La., the same as on the Bloomberg letters. This new batch comes about a month after a Mississippi man was arrested and accused of sending ricin letters to Obama, Sen. Roger Wicker, and to a local judge. (Read more President Obama stories.)
